Our Process
The Wool
We source long-staple wool from the Salt Range sheep of northern Punjab — softer, more lustrous, and stronger than commercial alternatives.
Hand Spinning
The wool is hand-spun by women in surrounding villages on traditional spinning wheels, giving each yarn a slight irregularity that catches the light.
Natural Dyes
We dye with pomegranate rind, indigo, madder root, walnut shell, and saffron. No two batches are identical — and that is the point.
The Cartoon
A master designer hand-paints the pattern at scale. For complex pieces, the cartoon alone may take three months.
The Loom
The warp is carefully stretched across the loom, and each knot is tied by hand with patience, precision, and generations of inherited skill.
Washing & Finishing
After cutting from the loom, each piece is carefully washed, trimmed, stretched, and finished by hand to reveal its final softness, clarity, and natural beauty.
